Can I Freedom Camp?

New Zealand has some laws regarding where you can freedom / overnight camp. Some free camping sites will only allow you to overnight camp if you are certified self-contained – the Lucky Rambler, Happy 3ST and the Happy Kuga which has a fixed toilet are both certified self-contained vehicle. Always remember, if you are unsure, just ask!!
